Scherbatsky-ish

So I mentioned in this previous post that I am itching to have a hair make-over. It was like having a very thick rug on top of me. Yes, I've been getting praises on how my hair looks good, the curls are perfect, etc but mind you, as much as I want to keep those beautiful curls, I badly need the make over because most of the hair were dead and tangled. haha. I also want to gain weight( connection please?) , because I feel like most of my vitamins are going to the roots of my hair, and not on my body.LOL. Seriously, I look so thin with long hair na. And lastly, it's sooooooo hot! It's hard to maintain long hair when you are exposed to the sun's heat.

Later that evening on the same day I posted about the make-over, I went to Salon de Rose and had it done! Here's my photo before most of my hair got chopped off:

I've been wanting to try a Pixie cut styled hair for a change. I want to dare myself on how I can carry a very very short do. Way back elementary and high school, whenever I get a haircut,I end up either crying or smiling. Crying because its not the cut I imagined, and smiling because I feel like it suits me. I must admit I had a very low self-esteem growing up. I was an active class officer, part of the class' top 10, and most of the school programs I participated. I was also part of the dance troop. But there's always that ugly duckling side wherein I don't get appreciated or noticed that much ( I admit Im not beautiful.hehe). So whenever I feel like my crowning glory has failed me, I get disappointed. It was just during college and until now that I gained self-confidence and never cared anymore about what other people think. I do get backbites from people I used to be friends with, I also got dumped for another girl, but these things made me stronger and even made me realize how the world works. You don't get to please everybody, but stick with people who appreciates every inch of you.

Back to the title(HAHA), I know a lot of you is a fan of How I met your Mother series, who isn't??? Well, Robin's (played by Colbie Smulders) look on the latest season got me inspired. I finally got to decide on what makeover I want. Just keep it short and curly! Plain and simple.
So here's my new do:

What do you think?:)
