 Catching up with the beauty of lace. For others it may seem as clothing like an old lady, but for us fashion lovers, it's a sight to behold and a very timeless design.

 I didn't expect this ensemble would turn out to be such a beauty. What I love are the contrasting colors and the how the pattern connected each separate piece.

 Then there's the peplum touch to it. This gives you a sexy waistline even if you have bulging tummies and fats.haha. The top is really a very good steal. All three trends in one!

I'm so glad I'm finally able to put up a blog post after almost 2 months of dead zone! But not to put too much    

happiness, I just borrowed my mom's laptop so I don't know when's the next post. Let me just consider this a post Halloween, post hibernation, pre-Thanksgiving or even a pre-Christmas post!haha. 

Anyway, with the two months that I was away, some pretty major changes happened and a few big blessings came too. I am just so thankful that even with the big rocks thrown at me, I'm still able to stand with both feet on the ground. My partner in life, my daughter, family and friends never left my side. I keep on telling myself that if my prayers aren't really answered, maybe I'm destined to be something greater than I thought I could be. I've had a lot of "What Ifs" running through my mind sometimes but I always snap myself back to reality and say that I deserve whatever blessing God gave,has given, and will give me. :)

I have been so ecstatic about being in Boracay for the first time so I decided to bring along light clothes that matched my mood! Boracay is the perfect place to flaunt and be yourself and nobody would care. You can walk around in a bikini, wear any beach outfit, be artistic with hennas and braids, anything you can imagine under the sun. What better way to be comfy and trendy than wear neon, aztec and floral in a whole outfit. haha. I wore this during the afternoon of the 13th wherein we walked around station 2, food trip at D*Mall and enjoyed the cool breeze near the shore.

Wore this outfit over the weekend. My best friends and I planned to meet up after being so busy with our careers, so I opted to wear something comfy and sexy since I brought Sam along. (hot momma ang peg!haha). First up, when I saw this top over at Primadonna, my eyes went wide open! Loved the print on it plus its neon. It's supposed to be a muscle shirt wherein it's loose but I didn't try fitting it so it was a bit snug, hence the big arms!haha. I paired it with cream lace shorts because I wanted to go for a lady-rocker kind of vibe. (The shirt really got me!) What I love about the shorts is that you can dress it up or dress it down. 

Then got my soFab loafers to complete the look. If you see the details on the shoes, it matches with the outfit pretty well.

This blazer is such a unique find. I got it from SM GTW during their mall wide sale. Aside from the fact that it's blue, the panel is very versatile. You can either dress up or dress down with the blazer. It also has a jersey cloth so its very stretchable and cool. I wanted to go for a casual but girly look so I matched it with a cute jersey short. Then paired the whole look with those cute strappy sandals I got from my Mom. It has a 2-inch heel but when you walk, it seems like you are gliding.

Since I got this from Redhead, SM GTW is holding the search for the next Redhead Model.

I'm starting to go with colorful outfits since I'm used to the neutral and monotone looks. Color blocking is so addictive!  My go to piece every time I go out with Sam are either shorts or leggings because it's very comfortable. Printed leggings, either colored, floral, psychedelic, aztec are so on the top of my list because you can always wear them with either printed tops or plain tops. Then, I opted to pair my outfit with black loafers for a more casual chic feel.

What is this woman thinking? Denim on a hot day? haha. 

I only got a few clothes stocked in my husband's house. On weekends, me and Sam usually go to my mom's place and have overnight. She wants to spend time with us, so when my husband is at work, we grab the chance to go home. Most of my old clothes are in my old room (insert MISSING THEM A LOT!). I just had that impulse thinking of wearing that brown dress and pairing it with a denim jacket. I don't why but I kept thinking about it, and so I really put them on. This jacket is sooo high school. I remember my Dad bought this for me for our school Christmas Party when I was still a freshman. So calculate, 11 years ago! I guess i haven't grown and inch too big or too wide at all.haha! I love every detail of the jacket and also the fit. Then, edited the color of the pictures to make it look vintage. Are you getting some hints that I'm a lover of neutral colors?hehe

Yesterday was also the last day of SM Cebu Mid-year Sale. I got stressed at work so I rewarded myself. haha. Bought some stuff for hubby and Sam too. Good thing it's payday today!haha.

I think I've used this red blazer a lot of times already. I just love the color, the fit, and the thought that this used to be my mom's. You see, I don't have a lot of clothes to blog about. If only I could get sponsors or buy everyday.haha. I just try to update my wardrobe every now and then and make use of what's nice. I think its about mixing and matching clothes that can make a blogger authentic. I  don't want to pressure myself to post everyday because I might lose my mind.haha. But I do hope my readers feel the same way. Its not about quantity but about style.:)
